Jonelle Summerfield

Jonelle Summerfield is an oil painter from Indiana, Pennsylvania. She received a degree in Interior Design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and continues a freelance design practice in addition to oil painting. She initially learned how to paint from her mother, Jolene Joyner, and further developed her technique by taking workshops from artist she admires. During an internship in London after college, she developed an affinity for travel, and the photographs that she captures from her travels continue to inspire her paintings. She also takes inspiration from her cats and everyday sources of joy such as coffee, desserts, and flowers. Developing her artistic skills is a never-ending pursuit as is the goal of infusing the world with images that impact her.
