Gatcombe Artist Residency
Spring 2025
The Gatcombe Artist Residency is a seasonal artist residency offered at the Roux & Cyr International Fine Art Gallery in Portland, Maine.
The residency is exclusively offered to artists residing in the New England area. The deadline for our Spring Residency is February 28th, with the Spring Residency beginning on March 14th, 2025.
Resident applications are now open for Spring 2025!
Please email your artist statement, curriculum vitae, three image samples of your work, and a brief paragraph about what you would like out of the residency.
To ensure we see your application, please have the email header entitled “___Your Name___ Spring Residency application.”
The application fee is $25. Please submit the fee prior to submitting your application.
We will not consider your application unless we have received the application fee prior to email submission.
What does the Gatcombe Seasonal Residency Offer?
-A reserved private studio space to create in the gallery for the duration of the season
-A reserved wall in the gallery to display 5 works available for purchase
-Free access to all classes and workshops
-Access to our sunlit display room for creating
-Gallery representation including a featured webpage, and more!
-A featured show put on by the gallery showcasing work created at the end of the residency
