Award winning watercolorist, Janet Laird-Lagassee, is offering a workshop to improve your skills to create paintings in any medium. Sketching is the foundation used by many artists for the basis of designing and creating a memorable painting. Janet studied at the Portland School of Art and has been learning and refining her skills ever since. She will give a presentation to illustrate the skills and concepts that she uses herself. Bring sketching materials, paper on which to draw and to take notes, and some reference images for future paintings. There will be opportunity to sketch in the studio or gallery with Janet available to give guidance and feedback. The cost of the 3-hour workshop is $150.
